Archna is an accomplished Entrepreneur and HR Professional with a broad and diverse background spanning three continents and multiple industries, including IT, Manufacturing, and Food. Her career has been marked by hands-on and management experience, from building ventures from the ground up to implementing strategic HR practices that drive organizational growth and efficiency.
In her career, Archna has held various leadership positions, been on the Board of Directors and Management teams, where she has had a direct impact on organization’s growth and profitability and contributed to strategic decisions at the highest levels. In her last role as Director of HR, she has developed and executed comprehensive HR strategies covering resource planning, budgeting, talent acquisition, development, and performance management. With a focus on aligning compensation practices with competitive standards while ensuring legal compliance across different countries, her approach has consistently been customer-driven and strategic. Archna’s passion for fostering a positive workplace culture has led her to design effective employee feedback programs and internal communications initiatives aimed at enhancing engagement and retention. She has also identified and addressed learning needs through targeted training programs, ensuring continuous development and growth.
During her career, Archna has played a crucial role in global expansion operations, managing both the strategic and tactical aspects of international growth. She has successfully built fully-functional management and HR teams, adeptly navigating local regulations. Archna has managed and worked with teams across the US, Canada, UK, and India. Archna has lived in New Jersey for over two decades, with a year-long stint in Vancouver, Canada. She is also actively involved in her community, serving on the Board of a local preschool.
Outside of work, Archna is an avid reader who loves traveling with her husband and daughter and enjoys solving puzzles, from crosswords to jigsaw challenges. She has expressed her creative side as a Radio Producer, having produced and presented weekly radio shows in New Jersey. Additionally, Archna has emceed various cultural programs and shows, reflecting her enthusiasm for engaging with diverse audiences.
