Chuck Philipp is a proven executive with consistent years of service with multiple different companies. He brings over 40 years of experience working in the medical device and healthcare industries. He has developed the strategic plan and sales and marketing plans for businesses serving the industry at Colorado MEDtech (contract design and mfg), Bayview Technologies and Value Plastics (plastic component molding). Recently, Chuck has been a leader in strategic planning and business development as a consultant to 8 different companies serving the medical device industry. All eight companies have seen significant growth in revenue and profit under Chuck’s guidance.
As an executive Vice President at Value Plastics, Chuck led the company through multiple years of double-digit growth. He was an integral part of the sale of the company to private equity in 2008 and the subsequent sale of the company to Nordson Corporation in 2011 for an 18 times multiple on EBITDA. Chuck remained at Nordson for an additional two years as an executive vice-president before moving into a full time consulting role.
Through his consulting company, Sundance17 Associates, Chuck has provided strategic planning in marketing, sales and product line additions. Chuck has a strong sense of the medical device market and has many contacts with medical device OEM’s.
Chuck and his wife, Kathy, purchased Alpine Physical Therapy (where Kathy was working) in 2014. They added a second clinic and built a successful small business. They sold the business in December 2022.
Chuck and Kathy have lived in the Boulder County area for over 30 years. They have three children working and living in Colorado. They are happy to celebrate their first grandson, now one year old. In his free time, Chuck works at the OUR Center foodbank in Longmont and gets to the golf course as often as possible.
